Deposit on the new machine has been paid.

We've been talking about this project for quite some time, and finally, today, the deposit has been paid. This has now locked us in to purchase the machine which will be planned for the middle of April. For fans that are waiting for custom minifig graphical designs, this is within touching distance !
Upgraded resin printers for custom parts.

For a number of months we have had a rather lengthy procedure for printing custom parts. This printing process has also been complicated to get certain parts to print consistently which has led to some projects being majorly delayed.
The new machines will speed up our processes and help keep pieces being released consistently.
New resin manufacturer / recipe for customs.

Our custom pieces are 3D printed out of high-grade industrial resin. We dye our resins to get the right colour for the part we want to make using our super secret recipe book. However, there was one huge issue, certain colours were extremely hard to print correctly. This process has been tested and altered over the past year and half. A new type of resin was recently introduced to us and this resin solves all of the issues we have ever experienced. This will be a game-changer for custom pieces.
New location.

We have decided to move to a bigger premise. With all the amazing sales coming up to the Christmas period, we have realized that we will be running out of room at a rapid pace. We have also had a number of new sets this year which are taking up stock space.
With the new premise, we will be able to get projects out at a quicker pace but also purchase a few different pieces of machinery to help with a number of internal logistical steps and then custom minifig pieces.
Packing improvements

We always ask for feedback from all you amazing people. We sadly can't do everything on our list in one go. However, an excellent suggestion was to separate small pieces from the rest of the pieces in the bag. This feedback came after a small tile was stuck in a large slope. We have now made this change to help keep the builds fun.
Large display items have been created into there own catagory.

With projects like the dragon dagger and the slayer helmet being vastly different to our main section it felt like a good time to start different genres of products. This means for fans of the display items you will be seeing a lot more of this style of project as osrsbricks grows.

Come and chat with either us or like-minded people who love LEGO®. It doesn't even need to be about our sets. The discord is not used for marketing but rather it will be used to get a community together that loves LEGO®.

We've joined facebook
With such a success with Twitter, we thought it was time to see what other community we should join. Facebook has some groups with well over 100,000 members. After speaking to the owner of 2 of these groups osrsbricks.com has become a recognised brand within those communities.

Website overhaul
Our website was looking a little lack luster. It served a purpose but it didn't feel exactly wow pow ! We plan to have further updates in the future but for now we have somewhere we are proud to show our products.

Custom items are launched
We won't be adding all our products launches to our news page otherwise it will be overloaded. However, this post is about celebrating a huge achievement. For the first time we are introducing custom items for your characters to wear and use. This will bring our your sets even more to life!

The downside of opening an online store that is independent of any merchant website like Etsy, Amazon etc., is that we will now need to spread the word about osrsbricks ourselves.
Twitter is an amazing place to reach out and to try and find some of you amazing people to join our community. Twitter will be the place that we will show off our sneak peaks for new projects and little of behind the scenes of how things run at osrsbricks.
